Maximilian Birk struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Pascal Töpfer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DSC Arminia Bielefeld. Heiko Huffschmid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvo Eiffel in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, DSC Arminia Bielefeld's Maximilian Birk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascal Töpfer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Gossa SC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Gossa SC's Leonid Rocks looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lovis Urgien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Pascal Töpfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match, Maximilian Birk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pascal Töpfer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 20th minute Lovis Urgien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Töpfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvo Eiffel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvo Eiffel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Huffschmid having to interfere. Volkmar Schlesiger hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Dennis König was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 33 minutes in the game, Alvo Eiffel dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, DSC Arminia Bielefeld's goal looked a bit too open when Alvo Eiffel came free, but Heiko Huffschmid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximilian Birk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascal Töpfer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zoltan Schallock. Leonid Rocks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvo Eiffel in the 48th minute of play forced DSC Arminia Bielefeld's goalkeeper Heiko Huffschmid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

54 minutes into the game, one of Gossa SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for DSC Arminia Bielefeld. Kurt Sonnenberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pascal Töpfer. 1-1. Heiko Huffschmid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvo Eiffel, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Maximilian Birk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascal Töpfer having to make a save. After 65 minutes of play, DSC Arminia Bielefeld's Maximilian Birk made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascal Töpfer was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvo Eiffel in the 71st minute of play forced DSC Arminia Bielefeld's goalkeeper Heiko Huffschmid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximilian Birk might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascal Töpfer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximilian Birk ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute, Leonid Rocks fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Heiko Huffschmid, passed just outside the right post. In the 76th match minute, DSC Arminia Bielefeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Krause to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes, Gossa SC's Dennis König shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Heiko Huffschmid came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gossa SC reached it. In the 81st match minute, Gossa SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gedeon Koss to maneuver through the defense. Heiko Huffschmid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvo Eiffel in the 85th minute of the match. Gossa SC's Leonid Rocks came free and shot a quick shot against goal 87 minutes in the game, fortunately Heiko Huffschmid had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Leonid Rocks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
