The FC Zedtlitz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jürgen Stamm should have stopped the shot. Gabor Blohberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Behrendt, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Gabor Blohberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorg Stiewe in the 36th minute of play. Gabor Blohberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Behrendt, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Arminia Bielefeld's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Wengenroth came free, but Gabor Blohberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fortunato Niggemann fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arminia Bielefeld's protests and gave Fortunato Niggemann a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Arminia Bielefeld's Jack-Peter Zahl got a free kick in the 45th minute. Arminia Bielefeld's Gabor Blohberger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Arminia Bielefeld from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armin Behrendt made a kick off. Gabor Blohberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Behrendt in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Armin Behrendt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabor Blohberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabor Blohberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endrik Aicher in the 58th minute of the match.
