Robert Biermann hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Pirmin Wilhelmsen hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Nils Hoffmann was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Matthias Guddorf charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthias Guddorf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Schalke 04's Matthias Guddorf got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Pirmin Trenkel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Schalke 04's Roland Husser was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pirmin Trenkel in the 36th minute of play forced FC Schalke 04's goalkeeper Roland Husser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albtal's Robin Nölting proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Albtal from getting a goal against them. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fritz Ernst Eisele to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Danielzick in the 56th minute of play forced Albtal's goalkeeper Robin Nölting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julius Drube fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Nölting having to interfere. Robin Nölting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Drube in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Ole Däschner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Drube in the 69th minute of play forced Albtal's goalkeeper Robin Nölting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pirmin Trenkel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Roland Husser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Schalke 04's Arne Danielzick got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arne Danielzick might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robin Nölting. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arne Danielzick ran back to his position shaking his head. 94 minutes into the game, Theodor Storm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Schalke 04's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albtal the free kick. Theodor Storm kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. FC Schalke 04's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
