In the 11th minute Erling Stein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davor Mielers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AgGrO BeRlIn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Karl Martin Pilz scored to the left of an out of position Paul Vielmann, making the score, 1-0. Erling Stein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl Martin Pilzs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Paul Vielmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Steven Bouffier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Davor Mielers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of AgGrO BeRlIn booed when Bockenbaum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodor Winzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wastl Hohmann struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Paul Vielmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bockenbaum. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theodor Winzen was the one to do the kick off. When Erling Stein came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the AgGrO BeRlIn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erling Stein couldn't finish the play. Ludo Krenn charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludo Krenn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bockenbaum getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ludo Krenn hit a great ball. When AgGrO BeRlIn's Steven Bouffier in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Karl Martin Pilz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Vielmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. AgGrO BeRlIn's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
