After having played for 6 minutes, Karl Martin Pilz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bockenbaum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Martin Pilz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 8 minutes, Jürn Stürtz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wolfsölden and the Bockenbaum players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Wolfsölden getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jürn Stürtz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Bockenbaum's Ludo Krenn got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Hans Hüppe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davor Mielers skillfully saved the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Theodor Winzen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Helmut Danckert. Theodor Winzen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Niccolo Adorno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. In the 31st minute, Wolfsölden's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Karl Martin Pilz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Theodor Winzen in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmut Danckert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl Martin Pilz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Helmut Danckert made a huge save. Theodor Winzen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Helmut Danckert having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Wolfsölden's zone, Theodor Winzen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helmut Danckert came out of the goal and Theodor Winzen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niccolo Adorno to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Karl Martin Pilz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helmut Danckert. Wolfsölden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Martin Pilz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Tonio Lunau struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Davor Mielers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolfsölden. Bockenbaum's Davor Mielers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Bockenbaum from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute, Jürn Stürtz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, Wolfsölden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Reichel to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the game, Bockenbaum's Theodor Winzen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Helmut Danckert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Niccolo Adorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davor Mielers having to interfere. Wastl Hohmann charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wastl Hohmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Wastl Hohmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Niccolo Adorno fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Davor Mielers, passed just outside the right post. Helmut Danckert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Martin Pilz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Karl Martin Pilz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmut Danckert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Wolfsölden's goal looked a bit too open when Theodor Winzen came free, but Helmut Danckert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolfsölden's Helmut Danckert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Martin Pilz in the 96th minute of play. If Theodor Winzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bockenbaum fully deserved thier win.
