Spectators: 7446 (Terracing: 5586, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Neubau FC's Fynn Fritze started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of MÜNCHEN LIONS booed when Neubau FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Thole didn't get a good kick on the ball. MÜNCHEN LIONS's Sven Vielmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodor Thiery in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Neubau FC's zone, Fidelio Pehr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fritz Ernst Petig came out of the goal and Fidelio Pehr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, MÜNCHEN LIONS's Willi Burke seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Willi Burke the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MÜNCHEN LIONS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Willi Burke had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 17th minute, one of MÜNCHEN LIONS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MÜNCHEN LIONS. Theodor Thiery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sven Vielmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Theodor Thiery managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neubau FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Theodor Thiery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Vielmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodor Thiery in the 29th minute of play forced MÜNCHEN LIONS's goalkeeper Sven Vielmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fritz Ernst Petig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidelio Pehr, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Fynn Fritze notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of MÜNCHEN LIONS's Sven Vielmann. Sven Vielmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidelio Pehr to strike the kick off in the second half. Sven Vielmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fynn Fritze, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Theodor Thiery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sven Vielmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Theodor Thiery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Fynn Fritze dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven Vielmann, 0-5. The throw-in from Julius Streich in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MÜNCHEN LIONS's Jannick Strack. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fynn Fritze in the 84th minute of play forced MÜNCHEN LIONS's goalkeeper Sven Vielmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Vielmann made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Theodor Thiery sent off a good shot on target. MÜNCHEN LIONS's Sven Vielmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fynn Fritze in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, MÜNCHEN LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Fynn Fritze came free, but Sven Vielmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MÜNCHEN LIONS's goalkeeper Sven Vielmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sven Vielmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theodor Thiery in the 96th minute. The Neubau FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Neubau FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
