The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Rückert during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, TSV Dewangen's Adam Rückert got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match Tobias Dey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henriko Tebbe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of TSV Dewangen booed when 1. FC Shuriaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hippolyt Jahnke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Finn Hänsel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jörg Hübner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henriko Tebbe having to interfere. Hendrik Kleffel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Jörg Hübner put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Henriko Tebbe. Marco Keskin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Delf Mann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörg Hübner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henriko Tebbe having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Henriko Tebbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörg Hübner in the 53rd minute of play. Leander Ehrlich was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 1. FC Shuriaz's Delf Mann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Shuriaz from getting a goal against them. Hendrik Kleffel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Marco Keskin managed to get in a good position for a shot. TSV Dewangen's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Keskin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delf Mann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Finn Hänsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the TSV Dewangen defense, Jörg Hübner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henriko Tebbe. The TSV Dewangen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henriko Tebbe should have stopped the shot. If Marco Keskin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to 1. FC Shuriaz getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Hippolyt Jahnke hit a great ball. TSV Dewangen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leander Ehrlich in the 100th minute. Many of TSV Dewangen's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. TSV Dewangen may have spent more time on the ball, but 1. FC Shuriaz were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
