Bruno Nonnenmacher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidelio Pehr went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Leon Schiffer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Loos in the 13th minute of play forced MÜNCHEN LIONS's goalkeeper Sven Vielmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lars Loos fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melting Sun FC's protests and gave Lars Loos a yellow card for diving instead. MÜNCHEN LIONS's Sven Vielmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Schwanitz in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute Lars Loos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Vielmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Folke Schenk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Vielmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 28th minute Lars Loos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Vielmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Vielmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henning Schwanitz in the 30th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jannick Strack stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sven Vielmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars Loos went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Folke Schenk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Melting Sun FC's Lars Loos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven Vielmann. Sven Vielmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. MÜNCHEN LIONS's Sven Vielmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Loos in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the MÜNCHEN LIONS defense, Lars Loos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Vielmann. The MÜNCHEN LIONS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Vielmann should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, MÜNCHEN LIONS's Abdel Johannsen got a free kick in the 74th minute. The supporters of Melting Sun FC booed when MÜNCHEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jannick Strack didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, MÜNCHEN LIONS's Sven Vielmann got control of the ball when Leon Schiffer tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, MÜNCHEN LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Schwanitz came free, but Sven Vielmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match, Folke Schenk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sven Vielmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sven Vielmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Loos, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Melting Sun FC played a much better game than MÜNCHEN LIONS and deserved their victory. The MÜNCHEN LIONS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
