Lovis Rampp ran back to his position shaking his head. Lauritz Schwang was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Lovis Rampp capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lovis Rampp really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Lauritz Schwang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Engelbert Borchert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lauritz Schwang made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Lovis Rampp sent off a good shot on target. Gerd Lischka struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Caspar Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for gutgut. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasso Marwein in the 37th minute of play forced Hochstadt FSV's goalkeeper Caspar Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hochstadt FSV's Engelbert Borchert got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thilo Schickmann kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Lauritz Schwang made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Lovis Rampp sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, gutgut's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lovis Rampp fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hasso Marwein was the one to do the kick off. In the 66th minute Engelbert Borchert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauritz Schwang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lovis Rampp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Engelbert Borchert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauritz Schwang having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Engelbert Borchert in the 76th minute of play forced gutgut's goalkeeper Lauritz Schwang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind gutgut's goalkeeper Lauritz Schwang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84thth minute of the game Engelbert Borchert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but gutgut's Lauritz Schwang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lovis Rampp in the 86th minute of play forced gutgut's goalkeeper Lauritz Schwang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauritz Schwang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lovis Rampp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lovis Rampp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lauritz Schwang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauritz Schwang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Engelbert Borchert in the 92nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Engelbert Borchert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lauritz Schwang was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After having played for 97 minutes, Lovis Rampp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
