Melting Sun FC's Lars Loos got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seghorn FSV's Simon Bohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Loos in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dierk Klemt in the 87th minute of play forced Melting Sun FC's goalkeeper Bruno Nonnenmacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, one of Melting Sun FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Melting Sun FC. Seghorn FSV's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
