Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hasso Marwein started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in gutgut's zone, Thorsten Junginger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lauritz Schwang came out of the goal and Thorsten Junginger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Christen Lehn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Massimo Pätzold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Massimo Pätzold blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olaf Schwartau having to make a save. Olaf Schwartau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Massimo Pätzold in the 19th minute. Lars Petek's late challenge caught a gutgut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Petek helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of gutgut booed when Deckenhausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Petek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Massimo Pätzold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Olaf Schwartau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olaf Schwartau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasso Marwein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes gutgut got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Buchta. Simeon Detzler was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lauritz Schwang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christen Lehn in the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christen Lehn in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauritz Schwang saved gutgut from getting behind. When Jonah Freud fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored gutgut's protests and gave Jonah Freud a yellow card for diving instead. Lauritz Schwang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christen Lehn in the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Massimo Pätzold got free with Olaf Schwartau in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Christen Lehn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Christen Lehn fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lauritz Schwang, passed just outside the right post. gutgut's Lauritz Schwang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save gutgut from getting a goal against them. Thorsten Junginger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Lauritz Schwang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauritz Schwang was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christen Lehn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 72 minute of play. Thorsten Junginger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thorsten Junginger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauritz Schwang having to interfere. Deckenhausen's Christen Lehn got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christen Lehn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauritz Schwang having to interfere. Deckenhausen played a much better game than gutgut and deserved their victory. The gutgut players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
