Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fritz Ernst Petig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bruno Nonnenmacher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fynn Fritze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theodor Thiery who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Bruno Nonnenmacher when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Lars Loos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melting Sun FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Loos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fritz Ernst Petig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fynn Fritze might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Nonnenmacher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fynn Fritze ran back to his position shaking his head. Fritz Ernst Petig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Schiffer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Melting Sun FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fynn Fritze came free, but Bruno Nonnenmacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Melting Sun FC's Bruno Nonnenmacher got control of the ball when Theodor Thiery tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthias Trampenau during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fritz Ernst Petig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Loos made a kick off. In the 55th minute Theodor Thiery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Nonnenmacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Julius Thole quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 59 minutes into the game, Neubau FC's Julius Thole nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Nonnenmacher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 63rd minute, Theodor Thiery made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Nonnenmacher. Melting Sun FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Lars Loos came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Melting Sun FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Loos couldn't finish the play. Leon Schiffer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Fritz Ernst Petig made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Neubau FC's zone, Henning Schwanitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fritz Ernst Petig came out of the goal and Henning Schwanitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 played minutes Neubau FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Prautzsch. When Henning Schwanitz fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melting Sun FC's protests and gave Henning Schwanitz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Melting Sun FC's Henning Schwanitz got a free kick in the 88th minute. Asbjörn Veit struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Bruno Nonnenmacher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neubau FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Loos in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fritz Ernst Petig prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
