Eitel Breitschuster's late challenge caught a Seghorn FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eitel Breitschuster helped the player get up and apologised. Eitel Breitschuster kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With his leg Delf Mann managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Seghorn FSV's Boris Theiss fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 36 minutes into the match, Boris Theiss dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Delf Mann, 3-0. 39 minutes into the match, 1. FC Shuriaz's goal looked a bit too open when Walther Schönberg came free, but Delf Mann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosmo Nelius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delf Mann having to interfere. Boris Theiss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Matt Termath managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seghorn FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Matt Termath was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delf Mann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Matt Termath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jörg Hübner was the one to do the kick off. When Sepp Klobke fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seghorn FSV's protests and gave Sepp Klobke a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Sepp Klobke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delf Mann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boris Theiss's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Walther Schönberg sped through 1. FC Shuriaz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Delf Mann. Delf Mann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Theiss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Boris Theiss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delf Mann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walther Schönberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Delf Mann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curt Bormann charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Curt Bormann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Curt Bormann hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörg Hübner got free with Simon Bohn in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Matt Termath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Seghorn FSV were the better team. Seghorn FSV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
