Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Alfons Raeder started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lion Liebherr kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Großengottern's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kim Olck fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Schachmatt Kickers's zone, Lion Liebherr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apollo Kornacker came out of the goal and Lion Liebherr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apollo Kornacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Raeder in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Robin Alfert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Michalk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otfried Gellrich having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Werner Schöpfer in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apollo Kornacker saved Schachmatt Kickers from getting behind. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Großengottern's goalkeeper Otfried Gellrich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kim Olck struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Otfried Gellrich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schachmatt Kickers. Kai Herbig kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Werner Schöpfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Papies's late challenge caught a Großengottern's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Papies helped the player get up and apologised. Christian Papies kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The crowd rose to their feet as Großengottern's Alfons Raeder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Apollo Kornacker. That made the score 0-2 after 62 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Kim Olck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schachmatt Kickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Kim Olck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otfried Gellrich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Apollo Kornacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Raeder in the 67th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, one of Schachmatt Kickers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Großengottern getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alfons Raeder hit a great ball. Benjamin Michalk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Alfons Raeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Großengottern's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfons Raeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apollo Kornacker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfons Raeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Werner Schöpfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apollo Kornacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Raeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Großengottern's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
