Apollo Kornacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Thul in the 16th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Schachmatt Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Koffler came free, but Apollo Kornacker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Albo Brehmer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Apollo Kornacker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Albo Brehmer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Weßmar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 35th minute, Benjamin Michalk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albo Brehmer ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Weßmar were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Robert Koffler came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Weßmar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Koffler couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Josef Thul got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 56th minute Robert Koffler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apollo Kornacker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Schachmatt Kickers's zone, Robert Koffler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apollo Kornacker came out of the goal and Robert Koffler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Schachmatt Kickers's goalkeeper Apollo Kornacker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josef Thul. A hard shot 64 in the game by Robert Koffler from a close distance when the talented Apollo Kornacker managed to make a qualified save. Schachmatt Kickers's players were relieved. 66 minutes into the game, Josef Thul cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Apollo Kornacker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Apollo Kornacker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albo Brehmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Michalk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Schwalm having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Weßmar's Apollo Kornacker threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albo Brehmer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 79 played minutes Weßmar got a freekick which was hit by Lennie Töpfer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albo Brehmer in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apollo Kornacker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjamin Michalk kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Christian Papies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Albo Brehmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apollo Kornacker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Thul in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Apollo Kornacker, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 95 minutes, Albo Brehmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weßmar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albo Brehmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute, Josef Thul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Weßmar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The Schachmatt Kickers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Weßmar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
