Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heiner Boddenberg got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Oferdingen's zone, Laurence Nelius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lysander Gundelach came out of the goal and Laurence Nelius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oferdingen's Lysander Gundelach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiner Boddenberg in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lichtenborn's Jochen Janing got a free kick in the 7th minute. Daniel Dirks kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Lysander Gundelach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurence Nelius in the 15th minute. Battista Schmelzer kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Lysander Gundelach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiner Boddenberg in the 17th minute of play. Battista Schmelzer took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reiko Klein. Reiko Klein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Lichtenborn booed when Oferdingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Dirks didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Helge Striegel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oferdingen's supporters rose to their feet, but Helge Striegel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reiko Klein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano Mundanjohl during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute Battista Schmelzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reiko Klein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Ibo Braun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lysander Gundelach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Nelius in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Heiner Boddenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lysander Gundelach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lysander Gundelach made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Laurence Nelius sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Battista Schmelzer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Battista Schmelzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lysander Gundelach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaspar Gaisenkersting in the 54th minute of play. Lysander Gundelach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiner Boddenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Laurence Nelius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lysander Gundelach was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 63rd minute, Laurence Nelius made a precise shot to the right of Lysander Gundelach. Oferdingen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Lysander Gundelach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurence Nelius, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Lysander Gundelach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Boris Lapczinski in the 72nd minute of play. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lichtenborn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rolf Mertens was slow to take the kick. During this time Oferdingen's players had a chance to rest. Jona Trumpf scored 3-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reiko Klein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Laurence Nelius notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Oferdingen's Lysander Gundelach. Lysander Gundelach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lichtenborn's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
