Alfredo Galvão scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lars Moser, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Moser having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fritz Teucke got free with Boy Strehlow in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the FC Bernhardswald defense, Alfredo Galvão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Moser. The FC Bernhardswald fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Moser should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Fritz Heiduk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boy Strehlow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes, Lars Rech mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pausa SV and the FC Bernhardswald players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pausa SV's Lars Rech got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of FC Bernhardswald booed when Pausa SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ehrhard Amsel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Galvão made a kick off. Alfredo Galvão did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Lars Moser 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pausa SV's Ehrhard Amsel got a free kick in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Alfredo Galvão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Lars Moser was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 73rd play minutes Alfredo Galvão shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Lars Moser and just under the crossbar into goal. If Alfredo Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Moser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Galvão in the 85th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Anton Rühlemann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pausa SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bernhardswald the free kick. The supporters of FC Bernhardswald booed when Pausa SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Rühlemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pausa SV's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
