The wind increased when Velten Base made the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored TSV Brunn's protests and gave August Amberger a yellow card for diving instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute of the match, Felix Sawitzki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marko Jüptner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by TSV Brunn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ole Gallasch was slow to take the kick. During this time Sportfreunde King's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Sportfreunde King's corner Ole Gallasch fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marko Jüptner quite easily take care of the ball. Marko Jüptner made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Berko Schaub sent off a good shot on target. The TSV Brunn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sportfreunde King were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
