Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sergej Maluga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bernd Scholze kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Kusel's Bastiaan Trube got a free kick in the 6th minute. Xerxes Hauffen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitus Wagner in the 8th minute. Ulrich Fekecs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastiaan Trube in the 10th minute of play. Xerxes Hauffen made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Jork Plesetz sent off a good shot on target. Bastiaan Trube charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bastiaan Trube the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xerxes Hauffen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vitus Wagner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Ulrich Fekecs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergej Maluga went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Vitus Wagner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Xerxes Hauffen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitus Wagner got free with Xerxes Hauffen in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Xerxes Hauffen managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Kneißl e.V.'s Vitus Wagner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Xerxes Hauffen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sönke Kannegiesser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Bentin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Kusel! Vitus Wagner shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Xerxes Hauffen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitus Wagner to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Grill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Xerxes Hauffen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xerxes Hauffen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitus Wagner went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Lars Brüning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xerxes Hauffen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitus Wagner in the 61st minute of the match. If Lars Brüning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, FC Kusel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernd Scholze to maneuver through the defense. Luis Grill scored 4-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xerxes Hauffen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Jork Plesetz notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of FC Kusel's Xerxes Hauffen. Xerxes Hauffen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ulrich Fekecs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Brüning in the 74th minute. A hard shot 76 in the game by Lars Brüning from a close distance when the talented Ulrich Fekecs managed to make a qualified save. Kneißl e.V.'s players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Vitus Wagner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xerxes Hauffen was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. After 97 minutes of play, Kneißl e.V.'s Jork Plesetz made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xerxes Hauffen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kneißl e.V. fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Kusel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
