With a little luck, Gel Hele's Klaus Klötzer got control of the ball when Erhard Jägel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erhard Jägel in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Klaus Klötzer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Henning Schallmo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Gel Hele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henning Schallmo couldn't finish the play. Hannes Molorciuc who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Karsten Köllner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Reaper crew manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Gel Hele to win.
