Damir Johannsen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ihrenbrück getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Damir Johannsen hit a great ball. Hannes Molorciuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernot Deipenbrock having to interfere. Ihrenbrück's Gernot Deipenbrock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ihrenbrück from getting a goal against them. Klaus Klötzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim von Berg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joachim von Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Klaus Klötzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henning Schallmo to strike the kick off in the second half. When Joachim von Berg came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ihrenbrück fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Henning Schallmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gel Hele's supporters rose to their feet, but Henning Schallmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gernot Deipenbrock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Gel Hele's Klaus Klötzer got control of the ball when Berthold Howahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Gel Hele fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ihrenbrück were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
