Nettesheim's Richart Rübin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Hildebrand in the 7th minute of play. If Josip Gänßle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Friedrich Schätzle kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Nettesheim's Steffen Minschke in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oberpierscheid FSV's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Nettesheim defense, Marcel Hildebrand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richart Rübin. The Nettesheim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richart Rübin should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Nettesheim booed when Oberpierscheid FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hartwig Huthreuter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asmus Rady showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Mauer in the 28th minute of the match. Steffen Minschke struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Asmus Rady didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nettesheim. When Josip Gänßle came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Oberpierscheid FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josip Gänßle couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Steffen Minschke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giovane Koser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Asmus Rady tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Nettesheim players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Oberpierscheid FSV were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steffen Minschke to make the kick off. If Horst Starke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Balland kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Giovane Koser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asmus Rady having to interfere. Asmus Rady showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steffen Minschke, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Matthias W Drewniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horst Starke in the 74th minute of play forced Oberpierscheid FSV's goalkeeper Asmus Rady to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Josip Gänßle notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Nettesheim's Richart Rübin. Richart Rübin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Josip Gänßle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richart Rübin having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Friedemann Gögge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oberpierscheid FSV and the Nettesheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Friedemann Gögge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asmus Rady showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Minschke in the 91st minute of the match. The Nettesheim manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Oberpierscheid FSV to win.
