An unexpectedly hard shot by Horst Starke in the 4th minute of play forced Ihrenbrück's goalkeeper Gernot Deipenbrock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steffen Minschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richart Rübin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim von Berg in the 14th minute of play. Joachim von Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Richart Rübin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joachim von Berg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damir Johannsen's late challenge caught a Nettesheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damir Johannsen helped the player get up and apologised. Damir Johannsen kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Horst Starke could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Gernot Deipenbrock however easily saved by the left post. In the 40thth minute of the game Niclas Mauer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ihrenbrück's Gernot Deipenbrock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Steffen Minschke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gernot Deipenbrock, 3-0.

The wind increased when Steffen Minschke made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Ihrenbrück got a freekick which was hit by Thorsten Traub. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horst Starke in the 60th minute of play forced Ihrenbrück's goalkeeper Gernot Deipenbrock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Nettesheim's Steffen Minschke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gernot Deipenbrock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ihrenbrück getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Patrick Wald hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Horst Starke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nettesheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horst Starke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Ihrenbrück's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Minschke came free, but Gernot Deipenbrock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Steffen Minschke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute of the match Nettesheim got a corner. Ihrenbrück's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raffael Ullmann ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nettesheim's Raffael Ullmann was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gernot Deipenbrock in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
