After a rather tough play, Reaper crew's Edmund Glomb got a free kick in the 7th minute. Hannes Tolkschmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karsten Köllner having to interfere. David Gersdorff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erhard Jägel in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Schwärzenbach FC booed when Reaper crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cliff Wanner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franz Liebens kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hannes Tolkschmidt got free with Karsten Köllner in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hannes Tolkschmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Karsten Köllner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zaman Ascher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. In the 31st match minute, Reaper crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Kranz to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Pietzko kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Hannes Tolkschmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 played minutes Reaper crew got a freekick which was hit by Sirius Kellermann. After 37 minutes of play Reaper crew's Kurt Kranz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Reaper crew getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Kurt Kranz hit a great ball. Zaman Ascher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karsten Köllner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Erhard Jägel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaman Ascher to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Erhard Jägel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karsten Köllner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Tolkschmidt in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hannes Tolkschmidt in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karsten Köllner saved Reaper crew from getting behind. After 58 minutes, Kai Lau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schwärzenbach FC and the Reaper crew players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Schwärzenbach FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kai Lau to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Tolkschmidt in the 61st minute of play forced Reaper crew's goalkeeper Karsten Köllner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Franz Liebens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Erhard Jägel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Gersdorff. Erhard Jägel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Erhard Jägel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bert Tuters blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Gersdorff having to make a save. When Zaman Ascher came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Schwärzenbach FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaman Ascher couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
