Iserlohn Kangaroos's supporters rose to their feet, but Georg Nicklis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemens Stalleicher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sören Räthe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jürgen Michel, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Georg Nicklis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemens Stalleicher having to interfere. Iserlohn Kangaroos's Sören Räthe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jürgen Michel in the 26th minute of play. Wolf-Rüdiger Spankowski struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Clemens Stalleicher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iserlohn Kangaroos. After a defensive mix-up in Orleta Deblin's zone, Folker Augenthaler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemens Stalleicher came out of the goal and Folker Augenthaler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Iserlohn Kangaroos's Folker Augenthaler got a free kick in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the Iserlohn Kangaroos defense, Kilian Weller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sören Räthe. The Iserlohn Kangaroos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sören Räthe should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The crowd rose to their feet as Orleta Deblin's Jürgen Michel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sören Räthe. That made the score 0-2 after 51 minutes of play. In the 58th match minute, Iserlohn Kangaroos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Walser to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Jürgen Michel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sören Räthe made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Kilian Weller sent off a good shot on target. When Raphael Kofler came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Iserlohn Kangaroos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Kofler couldn't finish the play. Clemens Stalleicher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Nicklis in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Balko Wruck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 minutes, Erasmus Jester mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orleta Deblin and the Iserlohn Kangaroos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Orleta Deblin got a freekick which was hit by Erasmus Jester. Georg Nicklis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemens Stalleicher having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, one of Iserlohn Kangaroos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Iserlohn Kangaroos. Erasmus Jester walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Sören Räthe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jürgen Michel in the 95th minute of play. Kilian Weller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Sören Räthe made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Orleta Deblin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
