Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jürgen Michel started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Morkepütz got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik Heidsiek. Clemens Stalleicher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rüdiger Machalowski in the 11th minute. Hendrik Heidsiek struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Clemens Stalleicher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morkepütz. Hendrik Heidsiek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemens Stalleicher having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balko Wruck in the 17th minute of play forced Morkepütz's goalkeeper Alfons Chef to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hendrik Heidsiek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Morkepütz booed when Orleta Deblin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Trumpf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holm Kang hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balko Wruck in the 30th minute of play forced Morkepütz's goalkeeper Alfons Chef to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Morkepütz got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik Heidsiek. Rüdiger Machalowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Orleta Deblin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Melvin Christoph hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rüdiger Machalowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfons Chef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Trumpf, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Alfons Chef made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Kilian Weller sent off a good shot on target. Rüdiger Machalowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Clemens Stalleicher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemens Stalleicher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hendrik Heidsiek in the 57th minute of the match. Clemens Stalleicher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik Heidsiek in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Kilian Weller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orleta Deblin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morkepütz the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Orleta Deblin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kilian Weller to maneuver through the defense. Jürgen Michel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alfons Chef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemens Stalleicher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüdiger Machalowski in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Orleta Deblin getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Noel Trumpf hit a great ball. Hendrik Heidsiek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute of the match Holm Kang shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemens Stalleicher showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Orleta Deblin getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Constantin Machold hit a great ball. After 80 minutes, Jürgen Michel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orleta Deblin and the Morkepütz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Jürgen Michel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Kilian Weller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alfons Chef was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kilian Weller got free with Alfons Chef in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Jürgen Michel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfons Chef. That made the score 1-2 in the 97 minute of play. The Orleta Deblin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Orleta Deblin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
