Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dominik Bakker started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, Illyria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinhard Morek to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute of the match Volker Hog-Heidel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Zentner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dominik Bakker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Zentner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Illyria's Derek Jochimiak got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 13 played minutes Illyria got a freekick which was hit by Cecil Reinke. Volker Hog-Heidel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benjamin Zentner. Illyria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Illyria's Benjamin Zentner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Bakker in the 15th minute of play. When Schönhof's Dominik Bakker in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Illyria's goalie prevented a goal. Robert Oßwald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Leitner having to interfere. Dominik Bakker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benjamin Zentner came out and tried to block the shot, but Dominik Bakker slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. If Dominik Bakker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th match minute, Schönhof was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arno Nitzsche to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Schönhof's zone, Robert Oßwald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ken Leitner came out of the goal and Robert Oßwald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Tim Frankfurter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Leitner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Illyria getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Folke Ahlen hit a great ball. Ken Leitner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Frankfurter, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Arno Nitzsche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Illyria getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ralf Glöden hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Oßwald to make the kick off. Robert Oßwald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ken Leitner made a huge save. In the 62nd minute, Arno Nitzsche made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Zentner. Illyria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Janek Winkelmann kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Dominik Bakker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schönhof's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominik Bakker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Zentner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Arno Nitzsche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Zentner. Illyria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arno Nitzsche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Illyria booed when Schönhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janek Winkelmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tim Frankfurter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Illyria's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Frankfurter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ken Leitner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tim Frankfurter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ken Leitner made a huge save. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Dominik Bakker sped through Illyria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Zentner. Benjamin Zentner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arno Nitzsche, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some careless play in the Illyria defense, Dominik Bakker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Zentner. The Illyria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Zentner should have stopped the shot. Schönhof's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
