Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Robert Damovsky made the kick off which started today's match. Bastian Sitzler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Helsinghausen FC's Yildiray Ernst got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 26th minute, Bastian Sitzler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theo Reißig was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Bastian Sitzler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Theo Reißig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Kühn kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Helsinghausen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignaz Heidrich to maneuver through the defense. When Altensiel's Klemens Schwarz, in the 34th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Altensiel. After a rather tough play, Altensiel's Jürgen Plate got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Helsinghausen FC's Robert Damovsky sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theo Reißig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert Damovsky recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 49th minute Yildiray Ernst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Reißig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klemens Schwarz made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Ignaz Heidrich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Helsinghausen FC and the Altensiel players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Helsinghausen FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ignaz Heidrich hit a great ball. Takeshi Lung missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 57 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jannik Brenner right hand side. In the 59th minute Robert Damovsky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Reißig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Altensiel's Mads Lucke got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 62 played minutes Helsinghausen FC got a freekick which was hit by Robin Erl. Bastian Sitzler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Theo Reißig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Bastian Sitzler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Theo Reißig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute, Robert Damovsky got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bum-Kun Klug hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes Helsinghausen FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregor Kreuzmann. If Robert Damovsky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Helsinghausen FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Altensiel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
