The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Kühn helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, one of Altensiel:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Altensiel. Karl-Georg Riegert walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 14th match minute, Altensiel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bum-Kun Klug to maneuver through the defense. Max Balzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Theo Reißig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Balzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Reißig having to interfere. The supporters of Fenerbahce314 booed when Altensiel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Schlumberger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Jonny Recht shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Theo Reißig showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Domenico Hinrichsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Theo Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Hinrichsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Max Balzer to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Altensiel's goal looked a bit too open when Max Balzer came free, but Theo Reißig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theo Falk came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Domenico Hinrichsen could save by the left post. Domenico Hinrichsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klemens Schwarz in the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Altensiel's zone, Max Balzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo Reißig came out of the goal and Max Balzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Fenerbahce314 booed when Altensiel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takeshi Lung didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Theo Falk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domenico Hinrichsen made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Theo Falk sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Max Balzer notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Altensiel's Theo Reißig. Theo Reißig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Altensiel players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fenerbahce314 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
