Gideon Protzel charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 27th match minute, Erlenbacher FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gideon Protzel to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Helsinghausen FC's Ignaz Heidrich tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Massoud Prengel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Damovsky struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Udo Brozulat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helsinghausen FC. 39 minutes into the match, Erlenbacher FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Damovsky came free, but Udo Brozulat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Damovsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Udo Brozulat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Damovsky stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bastian Sitzler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Udo Brozulat having to make a save. Robert Damovsky might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Udo Brozulat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Damovsky ran back to his position shaking his head. If Bastian Sitzler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Damovsky in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Udo Brozulat saved Erlenbacher FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yildiray Ernst in the 60th minute of play forced Erlenbacher FC's goalkeeper Udo Brozulat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bastian Sitzler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Udo Brozulat having to interfere. Wenzel Schönauer charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
