In the 4th minute, one of Manevra FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Manevra FC. Moritz Kummel went to the wrong direction when Eric Jarowoy was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Opops Team's Ronald Diel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Turk in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Clemens Ziegler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Opops Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemens Ziegler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helmuth Werner in the 26th minute of play forced Opops Team's goalkeeper Ronald Diel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eddy Bachmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 29 minutes, Clemens Ziegler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Opops Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemens Ziegler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemens Ziegler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Opops Team booed when Manevra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Turk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Opops Team's Ronald Diel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helmuth Werner in the 53rd minute of play. Moritz Kummel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemens Ziegler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Batho Dramsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moritz Kummel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemens Ziegler in the 57th minute of play forced Manevra FC's goalkeeper Moritz Kummel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Opops Team's Batho Dramsch in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manevra FC's goalie prevented a goal. Moritz Kummel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batho Dramsch in the 74th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Eddy Bachmann took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Ronald Diel to make any attempt to save it. Chants of Manevra FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Opops Team had held the ball for most of the match.
