Mario Merczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebald Majewski having to interfere. Mario Merczak scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebald Majewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute of the match, Ekkehard Mintzel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Johannes Schimmelpfennig was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lederbach's Sebald Majewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heinrich Ritzmann in the 26th minute of play. Martin Koenecke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ekkehard Mintzels short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Johannes Schimmelpfennig to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute of the match Peer RSBerens shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebald Majewski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 40th minute Mario Merczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebald Majewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebald Majewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heinrich Ritzmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Dinay Sports 06's Elia Koop got a free kick in the 45th minute. Johannes Schimmelpfennig acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Raphael Ehler. In the 47th minute Heinrich Ritzmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebald Majewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ekkehard Mintzel kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Mario Merczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sebald Majewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raphael Ehler stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Johannes Schimmelpfennig. 1-1. In the 98th minute, Mario Merczak made a precise shot to the right of Sebald Majewski. Lederbach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Dinay Sports 06 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dinay Sports 06 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
