A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Altensiel's goal looked a bit too open when Heiko Schommer came free, but Theo Reißig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Dominik Bakker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schönhof's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Bakker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 played minutes Altensiel got a freekick which was hit by Mads Lucke. Bum-Kun Klug hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Altensiel's goalkeeper Theo Reißig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominik Bakker. In the 46th minute, Janek Winkelmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Klemens Schwarz made the kick off in the second half. Heiko Schommer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Reißig having to interfere. Klemens Schwarz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Schönhof's Heiko Schommer in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Altensiel's goalie prevented a goal. Schönhof's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Volker Hog-Heidel in the 64th minute. Abbe Wegener kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Theo Falk came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Altensiel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theo Falk couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Altensiel's goalkeeper Theo Reißig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mads Lucke charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mads Lucke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Mads Lucke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theo Reißig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiko Schommer in the 77th minute of the match. If Heiko Schommer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Dominik Bakker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Ken Leitner managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Altensiel's Theo Falk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 88 minutes into the game, Volker Hog-Heidel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Schönhof's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altensiel the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Schönhof fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! The score was 1-1 after a penalty in the 90th minute, where Altensiel:s Jürgen Plate tricked Schönhof:s Ken Leitner with a difficult ball by the left post. A collision led to Schönhof getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Janek Winkelmann hit a great ball. Altensiel's Theo Reißig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiko Schommer in the 98th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
