Spectators: 7569 (Terracing: 5678, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Finn Biege started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Helsinghausen FC's Bastian Sitzler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Li Lin Lin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert Damovsky's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Li Lin Lin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Nils-Emil Tillman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannik Brenner having to interfere. Li Lin Lin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Damovsky, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Helsinghausen FC's Robert Damovsky in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Surtal's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Surtal's zone, Bastian Sitzler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Li Lin Lin came out of the goal and Bastian Sitzler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Robert Damovsky came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Helsinghausen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Damovsky couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Emil Tillman in the 23rd minute of play forced Helsinghausen FC's goalkeeper Jannik Brenner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Surtal's Li Lin Lin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Damovsky in the 25th minute of play. Li Lin Lin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Damovsky's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The supporters of Helsinghausen FC booed when Surtal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karlo Vorwerk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Robert Damovsky managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helsinghausen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Damovsky was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Li Lin Lin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Surtal's Finn Biege slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jannik Brenner. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. Nils-Emil Tillman scored 3-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jannik Brenner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Yildiray Ernst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Damovsky stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robert Damovsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Li Lin Lin having to interfere. Bastian Sitzler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Li Lin Lin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Finn Biege sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rainer Lack struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jannik Brenner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surtal. After a defensive mix-up in Helsinghausen FC's zone, Vitinho Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannik Brenner came out of the goal and Vitinho Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Helsinghausen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Emil Tillman came free, but Jannik Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bastian Sitzler got free with Li Lin Lin in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Surtal's Christian Battke got a free kick in the 78th minute. Bastian Sitzler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Vitinho Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannik Brenner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Riemer's late challenge caught a Surtal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Riemer helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Helsinghausen FC got a freekick which was hit by Fred Riemer. Finn Biege blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jannik Brenner having to make a save. Jannik Brenner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Viana in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Damovsky got free with Li Lin Lin in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Damovsky in the 95th minute of play forced Surtal's goalkeeper Li Lin Lin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Surtal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
