Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Batho Dramsch made the kick off which started today's match. If Claus Wassermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Daniel Noce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lierenfeld FC's Georg Tippenhauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batho Dramsch in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemens Ziegler got free with Georg Tippenhauer in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th match minute, Opops Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Priewe to maneuver through the defense. Claus Wassermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnold Geldreich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Diel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batho Dramsch in the 30th minute of play forced Lierenfeld FC's goalkeeper Georg Tippenhauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claus Wassermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Lierenfeld FC booed when Opops Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Jarowoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Raphael Frieg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronald Diel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ali Ertan Baste took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Georg Tippenhauer. Lierenfeld FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 44th minute, Clemens Ziegler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 54 played minutes Opops Team got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Priewe. If Julius Kamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Heribert Friedhoff hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Batho Dramsch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lierenfeld FC's Claus Wassermann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronald Diel. That made the score 1-1 after 74 minutes of play. Georg Tippenhauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemens Ziegler in the 81st minute of the match. Clemens Ziegler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Georg Tippenhauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Geldreich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Diel having to interfere. Georg Tippenhauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batho Dramsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lierenfeld FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Opops Team from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
