Domenico Hinrichsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dominik Bakker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Domenico Hinrichsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heiko Schommer in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Hinrichsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Heiko Schommer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Domenico Hinrichsen, 2-0. In the 26th minute, Heiko Schommer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domenico Hinrichsen. The goal made the score 3-0. Domenico Hinrichsen stood somewhat misplaced when Heiko Schommer came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 39 minute. In the 42nd minute Patrick Schöndorf suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Abbe Wegener's late challenge caught a Fenerbahce314's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abbe Wegener helped the player get up and apologised. Abbe Wegener hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Dominik Bakker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
