The referee ignored Erlenbacher FC's protests and gave Wenzel Schönauer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute of the match Raphael Ehler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Udo Brozulat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ekkehard Mintzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Udo Brozulat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekkehard Mintzel in the 39th minute of play. In the 46th minute Ekkehard Mintzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Udo Brozulat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludwig Zapf to strike the kick off in the second half. 65 minutes into the game, Richard Hutterer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lederbach's Konrad Schwang quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Martin Koenecke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Udo Brozulat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lederbach's Ekkehard Mintzel in 81 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Udo Brozulat guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 88 minutes, David Urban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lederbach and the Erlenbacher FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lederbach getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. David Urban hit a great ball. The Lederbach players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Erlenbacher FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
