Jürgen Plate took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ronald Diel. Opops Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Clemens Ziegler struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Theo Reißig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Opops Team. After a rather tough play, Opops Team's Batho Dramsch got a free kick in the 15th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Altensiel's goal looked a bit too open when Batho Dramsch came free, but Theo Reißig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Clemens Ziegler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Opops Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemens Ziegler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Reißig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dominik Eicker hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Hugo Priewe charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Priewe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes Opops Team got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Priewe. Jürgen Plate took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ronald Diel. In the 29th minute, Klemens Schwarz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ronald Diel, passed just outside the right post. In the 31st minute, Hugo Priewe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jürgen Plate was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Klemens Schwarz might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronald Diel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Klemens Schwarz ran back to his position shaking his head. Dominik Eicker charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominik Eicker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Opops Team's Dominik Eicker got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Opops Team's zone, Klemens Schwarz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronald Diel came out of the goal and Klemens Schwarz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Altensiel booed when Opops Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Priewe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Klemens Schwarz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Altensiel's zone, Batho Dramsch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo Reißig came out of the goal and Batho Dramsch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Opops Team fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Opops Team's Clemens Ziegler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Altensiel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Opops Team were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klemens Schwarz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronald Diel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Falk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Clemens Ziegler managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 82nd minute, Batho Dramsch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Altensiel's Theo Reißig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batho Dramsch in the 83rd minute of play. Theo Reißig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batho Dramsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Altensiel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Batho Dramsch scored to the left of an out of position Theo Reißig, making the score, 1-4. Clemens Ziegler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Opops Team's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
