Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martin Koenecke kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klemens Schwarz in the 3rd minute of play forced Lederbach's goalkeeper Sebald Majewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Martin Koenecke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lederbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Koenecke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Reißig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebald Majewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Falk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Theo Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebald Majewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. Altensiel's Theo Reißig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Koenecke in the 33rd minute of play. If Martin Koenecke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klemens Schwarz to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Theo Falk managed to get in a good position for a shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Dahlinger couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Erik Schlumberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lederbach fans cheered their team off the field, for while Altensiel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
