Li Lin Lin had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Volker Hog-Heidel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Volker Hog-Heidel scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Li Lin Lin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Heiko Schommer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Li Lin Lin, passed just outside the right post. In the 27th minute, Heiko Schommer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Schönhof fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Li Lin Lin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heiko Schommer's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Li Lin Lin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiko Schommer in the 39th minute of the match. Schönhof's Ken Leitner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finn Biege in the 41st minute of play. Dominik Bakker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Finn Biege to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rainer Lack managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surtal's supporters rose to their feet, but Rainer Lack was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ken Leitner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Rainer Lack made a precise shot to the right of Ken Leitner. Schönhof's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 98th minute Dominik Bakker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Li Lin Lin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Schönhof had won after a very even match.
