The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Moritz Kummel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Koenecke, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. 9 minutes into the game, Benedetto Dötsch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lederbach's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manevra FC the free kick. A collision led to Lederbach getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Benedetto Dötsch hit a great ball. Alf Graf hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes, Lederbach's Raphael Ehler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moritz Kummel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lederbach reached it. Moritz Kummel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ekkehard Mintzel went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Manevra FC booed when Lederbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedetto Dötsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moritz Kummel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Koenecke, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Martin Koenecke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lederbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Koenecke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Martin Koenecke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lederbach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 41 minutes into the game, Helmuth Werner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sebald Majewski. Helmuth Werner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 45 minutes into the game, Martin Koenecke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Moritz Kummel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Helmuth Werner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Manevra FC's zone, Martin Koenecke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moritz Kummel came out of the goal and Martin Koenecke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Koenecke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moritz Kummel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Martin Koenecke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lederbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Koenecke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moritz Kummel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moritz Kummel was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Martin Koenecke capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Koenecke really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. 1-6 became the score in the 79th minute when Martin Koenecke elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 84 played minutes Manevra FC got a freekick which was hit by Bosko Grehn. Thanks to some nice moves Ekkehard Mintzel could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Moritz Kummel however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Dahlinger in the 89th minute of play forced Manevra FC's goalkeeper Moritz Kummel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Manevra FC's Eddy Bachmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebald Majewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexander Dahlinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moritz Kummel having to interfere. The Manevra FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lederbach were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
