Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) FC Hansa Rostock's Hauke Brouwer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Othmar Baier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Traugott Martin, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thierry Behnke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Clemens Gehm made a huge save. Thierry Behnke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemens Gehm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, FC Hansa Rostock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Othmar Baier to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silas Vogel in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemens Gehm saved FC Hansa Rostock from getting behind. After 22 minutes of play, FC Hansa Rostock's Julian Vöhringer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Safet Niedermeier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hauke Brouwer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, one of ☆☆PolisH WingeD HussarS☆☆:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hauke Brouwer in the 33rd minute of play forced ☆☆PolisH WingeD HussarS☆☆'s goalkeeper Safet Niedermeier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Safet Niedermeier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Vöhringer in the 35th minute of the match. Clemens Gehm made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Thierry Behnke sent off a good shot on target. The ☆☆PolisH WingeD HussarS☆☆ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Hansa Rostock were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silas Vogel to make the kick off. Thierry Behnke might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemens Gehm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thierry Behnke ran back to his position shaking his head. Thierry Behnke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemens Gehm having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, FC Hansa Rostock's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Vogel came free, but Clemens Gehm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Safet Niedermeier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hauke Brouwer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Ansgar Brümmer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ☆☆PolisH WingeD HussarS☆☆'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hansa Rostock the free kick. After a rather tough play, ☆☆PolisH WingeD HussarS☆☆'s Ansgar Brümmer got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Hauke Brouwer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Hauke Brouwer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Safet Niedermeier, 0-3. Hauke Brouwer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Hansa Rostock had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
