Hermann Grunert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dietmar Lintner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. When Roman Reisch fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOKOMOTIVE PASLAM's protests and gave Roman Reisch a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes LOKOMOTIVE PASLAM got a freekick which was hit by Roman Reisch.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermann Grunert to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rainer Campe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wolfram Ridder hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Wolfram Ridder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dietmar Lintner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LOKOMOTIVE PASLAM's Dietmar Lintner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermann Grunert in the 63rd minute of play. Dietmar Lintner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermann Grunert in the 67th minute of play. Abdel Rechner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dietmar Lintner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Joachim Heinrici's late challenge caught a Detzem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joachim Heinrici helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, LOKOMOTIVE PASLAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Heinrici to maneuver through the defense. Gil Kick blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dietmar Lintner having to make a save. Dietmar Lintner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wolfram Ridder went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Hermann Grunert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dietmar Lintner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Hermann Grunert made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. LOKOMOTIVE PASLAM's Dietmar Lintner tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wolfram Ridder in the 96th minute of play forced LOKOMOTIVE PASLAM's goalkeeper Dietmar Lintner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Detzem had played much better football throughout.
