Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Frankfurt's Kai Gläßel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kai Gläßel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Joachim Heinrici who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Frankfurt's Ulf Zöller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aimo Bauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dietmar Lintner having to interfere. LOKOMOTIVE PASLAM's Joachim Heinrici got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fedor Juhr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Zöller having to interfere. During the 20th minute of the match Willy Ochs completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Willy Ochs a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Willy Ochs hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedor Juhr in the 28th minute of play forced FC Frankfurt's goalkeeper Ulf Zöller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joachim Heinrici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, FC Frankfurt's Aimo Bauer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dietmar Lintner. Dietmar Lintner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 38 minutes into the game, one of LOKOMOTIVE PASLAM:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of LOKOMOTIVE PASLAM booed when FC Frankfurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai Gläßel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kord Diesterhöft during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Kord Diesterhöft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The wind increased when Fedor Juhr made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aimo Bauer in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dietmar Lintner saved LOKOMOTIVE PASLAM from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in LOKOMOTIVE PASLAM's zone, Aimo Bauer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dietmar Lintner came out of the goal and Aimo Bauer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kai Gläßel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Gläßel in the 62nd minute of play forced LOKOMOTIVE PASLAM's goalkeeper Dietmar Lintner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dietmar Lintner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aimo Bauer in the 63rd minute of the match. The shot was stopped by Ulf Zöller but with some difficulty. Dietmar Lintner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aimo Bauer in the 89th minute of the match. Kai Gläßel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
