A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, FC Paradieso's goal looked a bit too open when Timm Tenberge came free, but Robert Scharpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Paradieso defense, Martin Jungwirth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Scharpe. The FC Paradieso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Scharpe should have stopped the shot. Noel Borchert kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Falk Baum during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Paradieso getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Falk Baum hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Timm Tenberge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hamburger SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timm Tenberge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Martin Jungwirth notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Paradieso's Robert Scharpe. Robert Scharpe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timm Tenberge in the 35th minute of play forced FC Paradieso's goalkeeper Robert Scharpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernard Nowak was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ehrhard Hasse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Kunzmann's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Martin Jungwirth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Robert Scharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Scharpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timm Tenberge in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Kunzmann to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernard Nowak in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ehrhard Hasse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Hamburger SV's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Nowak came free, but Ehrhard Hasse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes, Lex Wittenbeck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Paradieso and the Hamburger SV players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ehrhard Hasse showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Martin Jungwirth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the final whistle sounded Hamburger SV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Paradieso.
