Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Frankfurt's Kai Gläßel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Kunzmann in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Frankfurt's goalkeeper Ulf Zöller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 3rd minute, Willy Ochs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Frankfurt fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The referee gave FC Paradieso a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lüder Ehlers, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Frankfurt's Ulf Zöller. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Aimo Bauer managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Frankfurt's supporters rose to their feet, but Aimo Bauer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Scharpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Paradieso's zone, Aimo Bauer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Scharpe came out of the goal and Aimo Bauer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Scharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kai Gläßel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Frankfurt booed when FC Paradieso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Borchert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willy Ochs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Robert Scharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aimo Bauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes FC Paradieso got a freekick which was hit by Noel Borchert. In the 29th minute Kai Gläßel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Scharpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes FC Paradieso got a freekick which was hit by Lex Wittenbeck. Robert Scharpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai Gläßel in the 37th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, FC Frankfurt's Robert Scharpe threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kai Gläßel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Kunzmann made a kick off. Kai Gläßel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Robert Scharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56thth minute of the game Aimo Bauer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Paradieso's Robert Scharpe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Aimo Bauer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Scharpe was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 67th minute of the match Kord Diesterhöft sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Scharpe skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Paradieso's Lex Wittenbeck got a free kick in the 67th minute. Robert Scharpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aimo Bauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Kai Gläßel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernard Nowak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ulf Zöller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo Hirt's late challenge caught a FC Paradieso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo Hirt helped the player get up and apologised. Bo Hirt hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Aimo Bauer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Frankfurt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aimo Bauer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kai Gläßel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Scharpe having to interfere. When FC Frankfurt's Aimo Bauer in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Paradieso's goalie prevented a goal. Aimo Bauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Scharpe having to interfere. Aimo Bauer struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Robert Scharpe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Frankfurt. FC Paradieso's Robert Scharpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Gniech in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, FC Paradieso's goal looked a bit too open when Kai Gläßel came free, but Robert Scharpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Borchert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bo Hirt hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. FC Frankfurt were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
