Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Bobby Enderle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gersheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bobby Enderle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Schluffies's Sebastian Ahrens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Enderle in the 10th minute of play. Klemens Dagenbach struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Thomas Schirmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Schluffies. In the 18th minute of the match, Bobby Enderle tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Ahrens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd minute Gersheim were awarded a corner. Lee Kampf went to the cornerflag to take it. Gersheim's Lee Kampf was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastian Ahrens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sebastian Ahrens didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Plum got free with Sebastian Ahrens in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, FC Schluffies's goalkeeper Sebastian Ahrens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gil Plum. Sebastian Ahrens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobby Enderle in the 35th minute of play. Bobby Enderle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Ahrens having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Takeshi Heuchel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Schluffies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 48 minutes into the match, Gil Plum notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC Schluffies's Sebastian Ahrens. Sebastian Ahrens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klemens Dagenbach to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Gil Plum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Ahrens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Ahrens came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Gersheim's Gil Plum. But to his dismay, Gil Plum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Gil Plum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sebastian Ahrens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Ahrens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Plum in the 61st minute of play. Sebastian Ahrens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Plum in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bobby Enderle in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Ahrens saved FC Schluffies from getting behind. After 79 minutes, Klaus Ruge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gersheim and the FC Schluffies players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Schluffies booed when Gersheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Ruge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Keiderling hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Gil Plum ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Ahrens was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. If Gil Plum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gersheim's Gil Plum got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bobby Enderle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Sebastian Ahrens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Schluffies players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gersheim.
