2 minutes into the game, Klemens Dagenbach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Schluffies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Preussen Krefeld II the free kick. FC Schluffies's Sebastian Ahrens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save FC Schluffies from getting a goal against them. Florian Trumpf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Ahrens having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Dominik Althenn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Preussen Krefeld II's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominik Althenn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Ahrens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14thth minute of the game Herbert Stube who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Schluffies's Sebastian Ahrens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dominik Althenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Ahrens having to interfere. Sebastian Ahrens was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Herbert Stube capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Herbert Stube really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Takeshi Heuchel during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, FC Schluffies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takeshi Heuchel to maneuver through the defense. Dominik Althenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Ahrens having to interfere. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oswald Kuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Keiderling in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, FC Schluffies's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Euskirchen came free, but Sebastian Ahrens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Schluffies getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Klemens Dagenbach hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Herbert Stube shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Ahrens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Ahrens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Täve Echterhoff in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Althenn in the 86th minute of play forced FC Schluffies's goalkeeper Sebastian Ahrens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswald Kuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takeshi Heuchel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when FC Schluffies's Joel Keiderling in the 88th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Oswald Kuch was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Preussen Krefeld II through an amazing save. The audience was convinced that Herbert Stube's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Ahrens was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Joachim Euskirchen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Ahrens having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Schluffies's goalkeeper Sebastian Ahrens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Herbert Stube's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Ahrens was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. FC Schluffies's Sebastian Ahrens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Täve Echterhoff in the 98th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Preussen Krefeld II had played much better football throughout.
