Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Timm Tenberge made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 17 minutes, Takeshi Heuchel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Schluffies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takeshi Heuchel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hamburger SV's zone, Takeshi Heuchel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ehrhard Hasse came out of the goal and Takeshi Heuchel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Hamburger SV's Timm Tenberge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Ahrens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute Martin Jungwirth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Ahrens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Martin Jungwirth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Martin Jungwirth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timm Tenberge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Jungwirth struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Sebastian Ahrens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hamburger SV. Takeshi Heuchel charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Takeshi Heuchel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Martin Jungwirth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Klemens Dagenbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ehrhard Hasse having to interfere. Dante Kaczor charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dante Kaczor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dante Kaczor hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 49 minutes into the match, Hamburger SV's Timm Tenberge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Ahrens narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klemens Dagenbach to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Martin Jungwirth notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Schluffies's Sebastian Ahrens. Sebastian Ahrens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martin Jungwirth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 59th minute of the match Takeshi Heuchel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Takeshi Heuchel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 60 played minutes FC Schluffies got a freekick which was hit by Takeshi Heuchel. Timm Tenberge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Schluffies's Sebastian Ahrens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timm Tenberge in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hamburger SV's Herbert Neumann got a free kick in the 69th minute. Martin Jungwirth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sebastian Ahrens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Ahrens made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Martin Jungwirth sent off a good shot on target. After 81 played minutes Hamburger SV got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Eckhardt. With his leg Sebastian Ahrens managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Hamburger SV's Martin Jungwirth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Martin Jungwirth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Ahrens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timm Tenberge in the 93rd minute of the match. Joel Keiderling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ehrhard Hasse having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hamburger SV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
