FC Schluffies's Klemens Dagenbach got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Ahrens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Das in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Obersgegen booed when FC Schluffies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takeshi Heuchel didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Treiber in the 8th minute of play forced FC Schluffies's goalkeeper Sebastian Ahrens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes FC Schluffies got a freekick which was hit by Klemens Dagenbach. A collision led to FC Schluffies getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Takeshi Heuchel hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Schluffies's Klemens Dagenbach got a free kick in the 18th minute. Erasmus Strauch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Ahrens. FC Schluffies's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sebastian Ahrens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmus Strauch, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Jens Das came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Obersgegen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens Das couldn't finish the play. In the 25thth minute of the game Donald Treiber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Schluffies's Sebastian Ahrens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Jens Das cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sebastian Ahrens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donald Treiber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Ahrens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Jens Das blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Ahrens having to make a save. If Donald Treiber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Ahrens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens Das's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Klemens Dagenbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Leonid Sanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Treiber in the 45th minute of play forced FC Schluffies's goalkeeper Sebastian Ahrens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Klemens Dagenbach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Schluffies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obersgegen the free kick. 47 minutes into the game, Obersgegen's Donald Treiber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Ahrens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, FC Schluffies's goalkeeper Sebastian Ahrens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens Das. A collision led to FC Schluffies getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Klemens Dagenbach hit a great ball. The supporters of Obersgegen booed when FC Schluffies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takeshi Heuchel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Donald Treiber lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Sebastian Ahrens. When Obersgegen's Donald Treiber in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jens Das who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Ahrens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 76 played minutes Donald Treiber rounded FC Schluffies's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Takeshi Heuchel during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Obersgegen booed when FC Schluffies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takeshi Heuchel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Obersgegen's zone, Klemens Dagenbach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonid Sanders came out of the goal and Klemens Dagenbach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens Das got free with Sebastian Ahrens in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Obersgegen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Obersgegen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
